The Camps CUT ECO Electro classical guitar is a cutaway electro-acoustic model that offers ergonomic playability and consistent amplified sound at a competitive price point.

Overview of the Camps CUT ECO Guitar

The Camps CUT ECO is an electro-acoustic guitar featuring a cutaway body design. It incorporates a truss rod within the neck, which allows for a slimmer neck profile and provides resistance against potential warping. The cutaway facilitates access to the upper frets, enhancing playability. The guitar is finished with a matte varnish, which is intended to preserve the natural resonance of the wood.

The guitar's amplification system includes six independent saddles, attributed to the Fishman Classic III electronics, aiming for an even sound projection across all strings. A gig bag is provided with the purchase of the guitar.

Materials and Construction

The top of the Camps CUT ECO is made from Oregon pine, a wood known for its bright and clear acoustic properties. The back and sides are constructed from Sapelly, a wood similar to mahogany in density and tonal characteristics, which contributes to the guitar's warm and resonant sound. The fingerboard and bridge are crafted from rosewood, a dense wood that offers a smooth playing surface and contributes to the guitar's sustain and clarity.

The neck is made from cedar, a lightweight wood that provides warmth to the guitar's tone. The use of a truss rod within the cedar neck is a modern approach that ensures the stability and longevity of the neck. The bone saddle enhances string vibration transfer to the body, improving the overall sound quality, while the absence of a bone nut suggests a different material is used at the headstock for string seating.
